I have updated Eric Marsden's socket-level PostgreSQL interface to
make it work with recent versions of Scsh. I also did some small
improvements along the way.

I tried to contact Eric Marsden but my e-mails bounced, so I'm
releasing this new version of the library myself.

Version 0.3 is available from

   http://home.tiscali.de/emilio.lopes/scheme/

Changes:

 * Updated to work with recent versions of Scsh.
 * Added support for `crypt' and MD5 authentication.
 * Simple support for transactions (necessary for manipulating Large
   Objects).
 * Automatic installation using the Scsh Installation Library.
 * Bug fixes.
