Using scsh on OS X 10.4 (Tiger)

Hello there!! I am new at this scsh stuff. I have downloaded and installed
scsh on my Mac using OS X (10.4) Tiger. It downloaded fine, and expanded
fine too. Now I want to use, but I just don't know how. Do I have to
download and install Scheme 48? Suppose I have done that, what is the next
step? Do I have to use it only on the terminal interface, or can I use it
anywhere on the Mac?
