Hi, I wrote a rough interface to SASL for scsh/scheme48 which you
can grab from

http://www.physics.unlv.edu/~john/sulv-sasl-0.1.tar.gz

The thing might actually work but the packaging lacks a certain level
of sophistication.

Included is a crappy scheme program for demonstrating a chat with the
cyrus POP server using the GSSAPI method. There are other scheme
programs included which demonstrate something.

Makefiles riddled with site-specifc paths for FreeBSD and MacOS are included
for your convienence! There is no documentation in order to retain that
mysterious quality which often induces attraction.

The interface does not deal with interactions or security properties.
I plan to work on security properties next.

Anyways, please grab and try it or become inspired to write a version
that does not suck.

                                                        -john
