Hi,

I thought I'd give you guys an update on what's happening with the
Debian package of scsh.

As you probably already know, non-free programs cannot be part of
scsh. I was thus forced to ask for its removal. But Debian's mirrors
have a 'non-free' section where such programs can be distributed.

It was my plan to temporarily put scsh there, until the various
licensing issues were sorted out. Alas, for such a package to be in
this spot for the next release of Debian, I must find people to
compile scsh for the 10 architectures that Debian supports, and I've
been unable to find enough persons to do so.

To my great regret, it might thus be that scsh will vanish from Debian
altogether.

I have prepared a package of 0.6.5. It will be uploaded to the Debian
mirrors, source and binaries for i386 soon.

I look forward to being able to put scsh back in Debian.
