have you ever tried gmane.org? i hope the scsh list will continue to
be carried there.  it's like (almost) hassle-free mailinglists.  i
don't get swamped with posts on days wheni have only a few minutes to
spare etc.  gmanes anti-spam bots are adequate, i don't see much spam
there.
