Newgroups: comp.lang.scheme.scsh
Hello all,

as most of you will have noticed, the management of the
scsh mailing list at scsh@martigny.ai.mit.edu and the
comp.lang.scheme.scsh newsgroup has been problematic. The ML/Usenet
gateway at MIT (now defunct) blasted lots of SPAM onto the list, and
erratic changes and problems have occurred time and again. In
particular, there's no one left at MIT associated with scsh, and
administration by proxy has become increasingly frustrating.

Therefore, we'd like to move the scsh mailing list to U Tübingen.
Moving the ML to Tübingen will also mean we'll have a proper mailing
list archive. Hence, comp.lang.scheme.scsh won't serve a real
function anymore. (We think.) Therefore, we'd like to declare
comp.lang.scheme.scsh defunct. (I'm not sure at this point whether
it's possible to delete a newsgroup.)

If there are any objections to this, please speak up within the couple
of days. In particular, let us know if you rely on Usenet and it's
not practical for you to use the mailing list. (Or if there are other
factors we haven't thought of.)
