Your program works for me (with 0.6.4, but it should do as well with
earlier releases).  Apparently you are using the pre-built version
shipping with Debian, and that seems to be slightly corrupt.  But I'd
assume that the funky entries in the load path wouldn't matter if the
working directory really contained the sunet/xml dir (provided the +lpsd
switch works as advertised).  Therefore, first make sure that ./xml is in
place.  Then, if the error persists, build scsh from the sources yourself
(easy job).
