I have packaged `scsh-0.5.1' for Debian GNU/Linux. I would like the
scsh and scheme-48 authors' permission to upload it to the Debian ftp
sites for distribution.
It required a few patches to get it to compile. I sent a patch set
out on the USENET group... I wonder if you've recieved it? There is
a syntax error in that patch which I've since fixed. It's in the
sigset.h file. Changeing the *(maskp). to (maskp)-> fixes it. I've
the packaging diff if you'd like to have it. Several chunks may be
applicable to your mainstream release.
I believe that the licence will require `scsh' to go into Debian's
`non-free' category, and thus it will not be included in the official
CDROM image. Is that correct?
I am planning to try and build a .pdf file of the `scsh-manual',
using the `hyperref' and/or `hyperlatex' macros and the new `pdftex'
that comes with the latest teTeX. Will that be ok?
