I can't stand it anymore. I added myself to the scsh-bugs mailing list
because I was using scsh and I wanted to keep in touch. I wanted to hear
about the bugs that other people found. I wanted to know what changes were
contemplated for the next release. I wanted to be able to throw in my own
two cents now and then.

Unfortunately, comp.lang.scheme.scsh is gatewayed to scsh-bugs. So for the
last week or so, scsh-bugs has served as a conduit for funneling this
ridiculous flame-war into my mailbox. I thought perhaps it would die down
sometime soon, but Ousterhout has just poured on some more gasoline.

So in the interests of my own mental health, I have just removed myself
from scsh-bugs. (It was either that, or the purchase of some firearms.)

This is bad for the future of scsh. I presume that you want people like me
involved. I certainly want to help. But I refuse to be on any mailing
list that automatically gets traffic from a newsgroup. Sorry.

I would urge you to cut the link from comp.lang.scheme.scsh, at least in
the news->mail direction, so that I can re-join.
