At least he has enough clue to write marketing hype that ignores the
experience of several years of PL research. I doubt the paper was aimed at
PL researchers. One must give him credit for writting convincing hype for
those who haven't seen anything other than C++ or VB in their everyday
life. i.e. Ousterhout may or may not have a clue depedning on the target
audience and real goal of the paper.
Perhaps the paper contains some hints about how to hype Scheme as the next
greatest "glue" language. :)
