Build failure on Irix 6.2 system

I'm trying to build scsh-0.4.4 on a machine running Irix 6.2.  The
link of scshvm dies with:

  ld: ERROR 33: Unresolved data symbol "sig2int" -- 1st referenced by 
scsh/sighandlers1.o.

I find a declaration of sig2int in scsh/signals1.h but the only
definitions I find in the distribution are bsd/signals1.c and
hpux/signals1.c.  Do I need an irix/signals1.c?  Does one already
exist?  Or do I need to write one?
