I gather from the TODO-s48-0.36/NEWS-s48-0.36 files that this:
(log <any number>) -> Error: exception
is to be expected, due to a limitation in the VM that
makes it unable to deal with the stuff in extension.c.
I'd love to know that I'm wrong here. :)
However, if not, if anyone could supply reasonably fast,
working scsh/scheme48 functions that perform the math
stuff in extension.c, viz.
exp log sin cos tan asin acos atan sqrt
(some of which are easy, admittedly), I'd be very
grateful.
