Okay, you might as well send me the URL to your FAQ for me to include
at the bottom of my notes. We can form the SDP -- the Scsh
Documentation Project. *DPs are all the rage these days, anyway.
A Scsh Documentation Project would be a fine thing to rev up, especially
since there are now some hints that some non-Scheme-48 implementations
may be starting up.
If we were to generate good, on-line documentation, I am not sure
what the proper choice of original format would be. I know that
Linux and FreeBSD use SGML, but I have no idea what is available in
the free software realm for SGML authoring tools and for processing SGML
text into different output formats, such as Emacs info, LaTeX, or
HTML. Another possibility besides SGML would be to use Scott Draves'
markup system.
If someone out there understands what the right thing is, I'd appreciate
an update.
And if others are interested in a Scsh Documentation Project, I'd like
to hear about that, as well.
