Hi there. You mentioned in this message that there is a new
version of Scheme 48 comming out. My questions are what is the time
frame, and will it be able to be run on a DEC Alpha? Thanks.
I heard from Kelsey recently that they were specifically dealing with
32/64-bitness in the current NEC-internal development copy of S48. They
are working hard to turn it into an externally-released version. When?
I don't know. But it's been RSN for quite a while...
When it comes out, we will move scsh over to it, picking up alphas
and threads in one fell swoop.
