Out of curiosity, I loaded fact.scm in the debug directory and ran (fact 3000) in Elk, SCM, and scsh. Elk and SCM both weighed in at approximately 2.9 seconds. After much thrashing about, scsh still hasn't given me an answer and it's been several minutes. What might account for such a difference? |
