doc directory

I'd like to read the scsh-manual on my ASCII terminal.  For some reason, I 
cannot "latex" the source in the scsh-manual directory -- there
seems to either be some files missing or the files must be latex'ed in a
certain order.

Is there any way to do this or am I up sh*t creek?
