I just found that I get the same problem when I open any window that is devoid of a frame. For example a popup menu.

The message comes when such a window is closed -- the popup menu closes.

Any hints?

I don't really know, but Orion sometimes (often *g*) has problems with
the focus-window, so try to put the mouse over that prompt-window before
typing. That's the only idea I have right now.
