[Scsh-hackers] Replacing PS with PDF

I suggested to Martin that we just take the PS files out of the tar ball
and replace them with the PDF versions, as a space saving alternative to
having both. I think if we have to pick one, PDF is better since people
are more likely to have a reader setup that they know how to use. Also,
when I used PDF with pdflatex, I was able to generate a useful bookmarks
section that was the table of contents for easy navigation.
