We have it because s48 had it. do they still have it? we thought it
would be impolite to take it out if they wanted it. over the years we've
only gotten one or two complaints. if we ar edoing it for s48 i think it
has been nice to know that people are using it.

I think we could make the warning in the install guide about how to turn
if off more visibile.
